Quick answers

Common questions

How do I leave an active play session?

Touch and hold the upper-left and upper-right corners simultaneously for three seconds. When the human confirmation panel appears, begin on the slider handle, hold for at least 0.75 seconds, and drag it fully across. You must end Apple Guided Access separately using your device’s configured method.

Why does Pounce Play recommend Guided Access?

Cat Lock hides controls inside Pounce Play, but an app cannot block every system gesture or hardware button. Guided Access is Apple’s device-level way to restrict iPad or iPhone to one app.

Why is there no haptic setting on my iPad?

Pounce Play only shows haptic options when the hardware reports support. iPad play uses visual and optional audio feedback instead.

Does the app need internet access?

No. The play engine, artwork, audio, preferences, presets, and session summaries are included or stored locally. Version 1.0 works offline.

How do I delete my local play data?

Open Settings in Pounce Play and choose Reset App Data. This removes local presets, history, and settings. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored information, subject to normal device backup behavior.

What should I do if the device gets warm?

End the session, remove the device from direct sunlight, and allow it to cool naturally in a safe, ventilated place. Do not refrigerate or freeze it.
